In reference to RRB unemployment…… I spoke with the RRB this morning in regards to furloughed employees claiming unemployment. They told me that anyone claiming unemployment after April 1st WILL BE retro paid for the extra $1200.00. They stated that the system needed to be updated to reflect the payments to be received. I asked for a timeframe on the system being updated, they said the “middle” or the “end” of May. They stated if anyone has questions or needs help with unemployment to contact them.
